The HDR Superstitions

I processed this image with some trial software I found that creates HDR images from a single file. This is a stand alone application or can be used as a plug in with Photoshop. Not bad in my view this looks a bit like a painting.

To clarify HDR stands for High Dynamic Range and photographers use this technique in Photo shop and other editing programs to create surrealistic images that more closely resemble film.

They typically use three images of the same shot. One normally exposed, one underexposed, and one over exposed. Then they blend or merge them together to create richer, more vibrant colors and texture.

Just so you know :-)
