One of my photos was selected by the PAC (Photographers Adventure Club) in their weekly theme winning shot for: "What Makes you laugh"
Weekly Photography Theme Recognition
–
From last week’s Google+ PAC Community weekly “What Makes You Laugh” photography theme challenge,
the judges have chosen to highlight Tom Speropulos.
Tom’s
photo,“Bribes Only Work Sometimes” is a fantastic example of how challenging
photographing children can sometimes be. Still, the right photographer with the
right frame of mind will look at this situation and do just as Tom has done;
capture the moment.

His
image tells a great story of three very different personalities. While a crying
child is truly no laughing matter, as photographers we can appreciate the humor
in this situation, one in which most of us have found ourselves in at one time
or another. Congratulations, Tom Speropulos!
Tom
grew up in the South Phoenix/Tempe areas of Arizona. He has also called Florida
and California home.
Tom has worked as a photojournalist, sports, and wedding
photographer. He prefers shooting informal portraits (journalistic
portraiture). “I enjoy street photography and shooting people, kids, and
anything a bit offbeat.” Tom admits. The photograph featured was shot during an
Easter photo shoot.
Tom
shoots Nikon, D300,
F100, and the FE2 (known to the film shooters among us). He has been a member
of the PAC community
for 4 months and regularly posts there. You can also connect with Tom via his
blog, http://sperosphotos.blogspot.com/and or his SMUG MUG site, http://speros.smugmug.com/. Take a moment to congratulate Tom and why not add him to
your G+ circle if you haven’t already.
