Nikon FX D610 Test Shots

I had enough doubt before purchasing the new Nikon FX camera D600.

 I waited to see if Nikon was going to provide a fix. 

 

They did fix it, kind of sort of. Rather than saying, "Yes, we screwed up." They came out with the D610 to replace it. There are minor upgrades in the 610 and, the alleged malfunctioning shutter issue with the D600 was quietly addressed as well. Both cameras are excellent. The rub us do you want to roll the dice with the D600, that Nikon is selling at large discounts, and take a chance at the possible issue with dirt and oil on the sensor?

I am very pleased thus far with the new model.
