Thoughts on the the Fuji X30 after using it for a few months:
It is light weight and easy to use. It's not the best in hand held low-light environments, especially as one is careening down the road. Lots of noise after ISO 800.
For me, it's at its best in daylight for vacation and street shooting. It does have a built-in flash for indoors.
The lens covers a wide range (28-112) from moderate telephoto to wide angle.
